「Rue Réaumur」という通り沿いに３軒あり、
それぞれ、
・アクセサリーを作るための器具
・アクセサリーをディスプレイするための什器
・アクセサリーを梱包するための資材
を売っています。
この近辺はアクセサリー作家さん御用達エリアのようで、貴石店なども数多くありました。

もう１軒はパン屋さん　Poilaine　です。
チェーン店でパリ市内に３軒、ロンドンに１軒あります。
私が入ったのはこちらのマレ地区にあるお店。

グレー系の配色で清潔感があり、美しい内装のカフェが併設されているので、ゆっくりくつろぐ事も出来ます。
パンは酸味の利いた固めのパンや、クロワッサン、リンゴのタルトなど、どれも美味しいものばかりでした。

Let me introduce you to two stores in Paris.
First, SELFOR.
This is a store for jewelry makers. They have three stores on Rue Réaumur.
In each store, you can find
- Equipments for jewelry making
- Everything for jewelry display
- Materials for packaging and gift-wrapping
Everything one needs for jewelry making seemed to be gathering in the area around this store.
You can even find the stores that sell precious stones and gold.

Next, Poilaine.
This is a bakery which has three stores in Paris and one in London.
I went to the one in Marais district.
The cafe was right next to the bakery, so you can have a little moment of comfort with all of their delicious bakery.

いつもなら、日曜日は観光客でにぎわうヴァンヴの蚤の市。
さすがに今日は、ほとんど店が立ってませんでした…

First snow. 23 °F.
Now the cold air mass from Siberia covers this area that the true winter has arrived in Paris.
The photo is from ” Le marché aux Puces de Vanves ” this morning on Sunday. Almost no one opened their stands today…

I came across a string orchestra in Bastillle metro station near my office.
The orchestra contains students and professionals who play under one common concept ” to play in a public place “.
Paris is a city where you can listen to a good music in unexpected places.
And also there are many people who take time to appreciate it.

同じくSaint Paul駅近くの「Village Saint Paul（サンポール村）」地区のカフェ。暖かいチョコレートの飲み物「ショコラ・ショー」がおいしかったです。

そして出会った、かっこいい駅「Assemblée nationale」。
偶然通りかかった駅だったので、嬉しさもひとしお。

One can meet many wonderful scenes in Paris.
An ally leading to a church near Saint-Paul metro station.
In Village Saint-Paul, near the same station, is a cafe with a good cup of hot chocolate.
And I came across a good-design station “Assemblée nationale”.
It made me so much happier to discover it by coincidence.

中央すこし左に写っている女性がステイ先のお母さん。展示中の作品を描かれたLeili Mohseniさんです。

オープニングパーティーは大盛況でした！
今回のテーマは「窓」。ギャラリーに風がぬけていくような、爽快な開放感がありました。

The mother of the house where I home-stay is a painter and her show took place in Saint-Germain- des-Prés area in Paris.
Her name is Leili Mohseni.
There were a lot of people at the opening party.
The theme of the exhibition was “windows”. I was able to feel the gallery filled with fresh breeze. It was as if you are in the open field on the sunny spring day.

インテリアとアートが近いフランスの国柄なのか、各会場にはアートブースが点在していて、それに出会うのが楽しみでした。

↑ こちらは 「Art’keting（アーケティング）」というコーナーで、今回のMaison & Objetのテーマである「Crazy（クレイジー）」を表すブースの１つです。インテリアにもますます独創性・独自性が求められるいま、アート作品や風変わりなインテリア小物を使い、それをとことん追求する展示でした。「Marketing（マーケティング）」という、市場ビジネス全般の活動を表す言葉をもじったタイトルには、市場経済にとらわれない個性の表現を目指す意図の表れかもしれません。

↑ こちらは、カンパーナ兄弟のブース。
彼らは、２年かけて改装された、オルセー美術館の新しいレストランのインテリアも手がけたデザイナーです。

↑ カフェコーナーでは、パイナップルの向こうに人がうごめく様子が不思議な感覚でした。

Maison&Objetは「Parc Exposition（パークエクスポジション）」という駅近くの巨大展示会場で開催されますが、パリ市内にある様々なショールームでも「Salon Off（サロンオフ）」と題して、特別展やパーティーが開かれます。

↑ ここ「MAXALTO（マクサルト）」は、イタリアの家具メーカー「B&B Italia」のコアブランドの１つ。パリのこのショールームが旗艦店第１号です。どこを向いてもディスプレイの勉強になるインテリアでした。

次回のMaison & Objetは９月７〜１１日、Premier Classeは３月２〜５日に開催されます。ヨーロッパへの旅行がてらぜひ！

” Crazy ” was the theme of this year’s Maison & Objet.
In the booth called “Art’keting”, François Bernard realized the concept of hyper-personalization of interior space using art pieces and unique interior items. The title, converted from “marketing”, depicts the attitude of creating personal spaces without depending on the normal market.
Next photo is from the booth by Campana Brothers.
Maison & Objet is held in the huge convention center near “Parc Exposition” station, and also, there are many other showrooms in the center of Paris having the special exhibitions.
Next Maison & Objet will be from September 7th to 11th, and Premier Classe is from March 2nd to 5th.

こちらは「Premier Classe」の会場。
これくらいの規模の建物３つを使って行われる大きな展示会です。

アクセサリー・かばん・帽子・靴・洋服など、ファッションにまつわるものが一堂に会し、それぞれのデザイナーや作り手がブースで商品説明をしてくれます。モデルがいるブースも多く、実際に身につけた時のイメージが伝わりました。

ここから下は、さらに規模の大きなインテリア展示会「Maison & Objet」。
インテリアに関するものがすべて見られる展示会です。

↑ ファブリック製品のメーカーのブースでは、ミシンを中央に据えてワークショップのような雰囲気。
デザイナーが想像力を働かせたくなるようなデザインになっています。

↑ ベルギーの家具メーカー「Labt」のブース。
あえて床は会場既存のコンクリートをむき出しにして、質のいい積層材の家具の素材感や、ファブリックの暖かみが、引き立っていました。

↑ こちらもベルギーの「Flamant」。
別荘をイメージしたようなナチュラルな雰囲気の内装で、少しずつテーマの違う部屋が全部で６つほどありました。
家具・小物・アート…インテリア全体をコーディネート出来る、商品ラインアップの幅広さに圧倒されました。

↑ ここはHAYというデンマークの会社。
自社デザインや、社外デザイナーと組んで、様々なインテリアプロダクトを開発しています。
会場デザインでは、プロダクトも展示しやすい棚型で、かつ木製フレームを使って、北欧らしさとインテリアの雰囲気を上手く伝えていました。

↑ お隣の会場にいたおしゃれな女性スタッフ。家具と雰囲気もぴったり。ファッションの勉強にもなる会場です。

One of the biggest expo about interior “Maison & Objet” and another expo about fashion “Premier Classe” were held from January 20th to 24th around Paris.

First photo was from “Premier Classe”. There are two other buildings in the same size dedicated to fashion expo.
You can find everything related to fashion in this expo : clothing, jewelry, bag, hat, socks…
In each booth, you can find designers and they explain the concept of their works.
In some booths, models are presenting the products by wearing them in person.

From second photo on, they are about “Maison & Objet”.
Companies from Scandinavian countries seemed to be more fresh and challenging their new designs.
Even the costume of the staffs matched their furniture products.
I’ll continue the report on Maison & Objet tomorrow, too.

The number of the people who came to see the expo exceeded my expectation.
The major reason was the following press releases.
One was “Nouvel Observateur”, a political news magazine in France. It was published on January 6th, 2012. Article was on the last page.
Another was “Le Monde”, both on the internet and on the newspaper.
Newspaper was published on January 13th, 2012. Article was on the 27th page.

最終日の看板は、Subikiawa食器店さんが出して下さいました。

１０時開場、だんだんとお客さんが集まります。

会期中は、わんちゃんもたくさん来てくれました。

お客さんの嬉しそうな顔を見るのが何よりの喜びでした。

お昼頃には、１週間ほど前からパリに来て下さっていた出品作家さん達も続々と到着。

クロージングパーティーの用意を始めます。
今日の献立はおにぎりとお味噌汁！

こちらは通訳をしてくれた、テキスタイルデザイナー／版画家のNégare Emdadianさん。梅干し好きだそうです。

ギャラリーでおにぎりを作る。

できあがりました！フランス人にも好評でした＾＾

今回たくさんの方々にご覧いただいて、良いご意見も厳しいご意見もいただきました。
今しか出来ない、とても貴重な経験になりました。
これをかならず、次への糧として、また進んでいきたいと思います。

Tapie’s first exhibition in the overseas has finished on January 14th, 2012, at 18pm.
This 10day exhibition has received about 300 people from France, Japan, India, Italy and Swiss.
My sincere gratitudes to
the people who came to our show,
the artists who participated,
the people who supported us through this blog,
the stuff members of Ateliers de Paris,
and the people at City of Osaka office.
The exhibition would not have been a success without these peoples heart warming support and advises.
Thank you all very very much.

Throughout the exhibition, I received many comments both very nice and severe, all of which were so valuable.
All the advises will be the nourishment for the future and I will go forward with them.
My sincere appreciations to every person who were related to this and every moment shared with everyone.

The exhibition started yesterday!
In two days, including the opening party, about 100 people came to see the show.
You can see the enlarged pictures when you click on the photos above.
A famous news magazine “Le Nouvel Observateur” featured the exhibition on their current issue. Quite a lot of people are coming to see the show by reading this article.
The exhibition will go on till the 14th of January!
